Weather Central, Inc., located in beautiful and award winning Madison, Wisconsin is looking for more people to join their On Demand Services and Customer Development team.
Weather Central Inc is the leader in providing professional on-air, on-line and print weather systems and forecasting utilizing dynamic weather graphics, precise forecast models and data, and patented technology to customers world wide.
Position Summary:
Facilitate and plan training and installation programs for clients and evaluate the impact of training to modify programs as necessary. Establish new training programs as required by software development and customer needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Train customers on-site on new or existing systems ; Create training materials for programs and seminars; Create on-line material for manuals; Proactively set up conference calls to customize training, set expectations and answer questions regarding
installation and training ; Submit recommendations of hardware and software product enhancements; Document and consult with software test personnel to explain software errors; Acquire and maintain working knowledge of all products and Beta software;
Support fellow trainers by customizing material for their training sessions; 65-75% travel required.
Educations, Skills, Experience, Abilities:
Bachelor’s Degree in Meteorology, Graphic Design, Education or related field; Teaching and/or Training experience preferred; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Self-directed and able to work with a team; Microsoft Office products experience required; Adobe Photoshop experience preferred; Spanish or other
foreign language a plus; Weather Central product knowledge preferred Weather Central provides weather solutions for the broadcast television industry. The
