Web Programmer - Weather Decision Technologies, Inc.
WDT is seeking to hire a professional Web Programmer to work in the commercial weather industry on innovative and cutting-edge technologies. Weather Decision Technologies, Inc. (WDT) is a growing Norman-based weather company focused on providing world class severe/hazardous weather detection and prediction tools and numerical modeling solutions to our global clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop customer facing and back-end web-based applications based on industry standard technologies.
• Support and maintain technologies and systems included in WDT’s existing unique suite of weather products and technologies.
• Work with a team of software engineers and other web developers in designing, coding, testing and fielding products and technologies.
• Work with other system developers and engineers to troubleshoot fielded systems.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Working knowledge of MySQL, PHP, JavaScript, AJAX
• Excellent knowledge of hand coding XHTML and CSS
• Must be able to work in team environment
• Must be able to handle several tasks at one time
• Must be able to work in fast paced environment
DESIRED:
• Experience developing for web applications (PHP/MySQL)
• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
• Experience with SVN or similar Source Controls systems
