Please join me in congratulating Katie Western, one of our freshman, who received an OU Pace Award. The award is restricted to 1% of the incoming OU freshmen. The PACE awards cut across disciplines and it has been some time since the School has had a PACE award winner. The award name indicates the breadth of the criteria, which includes:
Participation in recognized campus clubs and activities,
Academic achievement with a minimum of 3.25 in 14 credit hours
Community service either on campus or in the metro area, and
Excellence in leadership positions on campus including residence life
Congratulations to Katie Western for her service, academic achievement, leadership and participation.
